This October 5, Pt. Leo Estate will team up with the iconic Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters for an exclusive menu collaboration.
Culinary Director of Pt. Leo Estate, Josep Espuga, will join forces with Executive Chef of Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters, Alejandro Saravia, to curate a seasonal menu with exclusive wine pairings.
A unique cellar door experience in the heart of Melbourne’s bustling CBD, the evening will bring together the very best produce and wine that Victoria has on offer. The menu is also inspired by the rich cultural influences of Espuga and Saravia’s Spanish and Peruvian heritage.
“I am excited to partner with Josep and Pt. Leo Estate, which is an iconic vineyard, but also the perfect combination of my passions – food, wine, art and culture. Creating a seasonal menu which combines Josep’s Spanish flavours with those of my native Peru will be a delicious experience for guests”, says Saravia.
The five-course menu that champions local produce will be paired with a carefully curated selection of Pt. Leo Estate wines. Diners will be treated to dishes with ingredients that reflect the Mornington Peninsula, such as Port Phillip Bay Sea urchin mousse, Red Hill truffle and salmon roe from neighbouring region, Yarra Valley.
“It is an honour to be able to create a menu where my Spanish roots can be complimented by a shared love of Victorian produce with the exceptional Alejandro Saravia”, says Espuga.
