A Celebration of Sculpture

As we recognise five years of sculpture at Pt Leo Estate, join us to celebrate with Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa and an esteemed group of Australian artists, all whose works form part of the collection at the Estate.
Seated on long tables, experience a three-course set menu with wines, celebrating the 3 majestic regions of Peru, exclusively designed by Farmer’s Daughters Executive Chef, Alejandro Saravia and our very own Culinary Director, Josep Espuga.

Inspiration – From the coast, on the coast of Peru we enjoy the best fish and seafood from the Pacific Ocean, we sit at the beach with our feet in the sand and ocean breeze touching our face. We share, drink, we laugh and chat.

Inspiration – From the Andean Sierras, a mountain chain that divides a territory but unifies a country. Strong and generous provider a vast diversity of ingredients from ancient grains to unique herbs and proteins.

Inspiration – From the Amazon Jungle, Caliente, exotic and tropical. In the jungle we play, we explore and learn from the plants. Tropical fruits in abundance, sweet and sour, bright colours and that celebrates a joyful people.

Primavera Social
A Spanish and Peruvian Barbecue Experience
Sunday 10th September,
5.30pm – 9.30pm
Celebrate the arrival of Spring with a Spanish and Peruvian barbecue fiesta!
Culinary Director, Josep Espuga will join forces with Executive Chef of Farmer’s Daughters, Alejandro Saravia to present a menu with a focus on dishes cooked over open flame and which give a nod to their respective Catalonian and Peruvian backgrounds.
Adding to the festive vibe Paris Wells and pHinioUS will set the ambience with an eclectic mix of international electro boogie, infused with the soulful tones of Paris on vocals.
Guests will enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, and a multi-dish menu in the casual surrounds of the Wine Terrace, overlooking the vineyard, Sculpture Park and Western Port.

Sculpture Park Tour, Talk and Brunch with Jaume Plensa and Geoffrey Edwards
Saturday 9th September,
from 10.30am
Join us on Saturday 9th September for an exclusive Sculpture Park tour and talk with Jaume and our park Curator, Geoffrey Edwards. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Estate NV Sparkling, or a tea or coffee, before heading into the park. At the conclusion of the tour, enjoy brunch prepared by our Culinary Director and Head of Pastry.
We are at the mercy of the elements in the Sculpture Park, so please dress warmly. Umbrellas will be provided if required. 10.30am arrival at the Estate for commencement at 10.45am

An Evening with Jaume Plensa in Laura
Saturday 9th September,
6.00pm – 11pm
Join us for a specially curated experience in Laura. Culinary Director, Josep Espuga draws inspiration from Jaume Plensa’s art and philosophies to create a unique culinary journey.
The evening will surprise and delight. Dishes will allow guests to taste the inspiration of this artistic collaboration in a shared language of colour, shape and textures.
Each of the six courses will be named or inspired by Plensa’s most famous works, some reflecting connections with Japanese culture, a refined and sophisticated influence in Plensa’s esteemed career. Anticipate plates brushed with poems, premium ingredients that speak to metaphors explored in Plensa’s work, and an intimate Q&A with Plensa and our Sculpture Park Curator, Geoffrey Edwards.
This will be an evening not to be missed.
