Georgina Prout
Business Development Manager
After studying Wine Marketing in South Australia and working with Peter, Margaret & Doug Lehmann for close to a decade, Georgie consulted for 12 months at sister company, Glen Carlou, then owned by Donald Hess, in the spectacular South Africa. The intended 12 months in South Africa, turned into 12 rewarding years before leading Georgie to her next role at Pt. Leo Estate as Business Development Manager in 2020.
With over 25 years experience in wine and wine tourism, having worked in some incredible wine regions, Georgie is pleased to be back in Australia and located in the iconic Mornington Peninsula in her role at Pt. Leo Estate.
Georgie’s motivation, passion, loyalty, creativity, and adaptability as a leader, exudes through her proficiency and expertise around brand development and strategy, which cultivate Pt. Leo Estate. Imparting a wealth of experience, the Pt. Leo Estate team is so grateful to have Georgie Prout as Business Development Manager.
Georgie senses that she was destined to work in wine, with fond memories of visiting wine regions with her parents, traipsing through the old, fortified cellars of North-East Victoria, and the joy shared around the table. Georgie still finds joy trying different wines, experimenting with food pairings, and sharing these experiences with friends and family over a home cooked meal.
