This Reserve Chardonnay is is blended from our three best clones, P58, B76 and B95. Hand-picked fruit is gently whole-bunch pressed, the juice then transferred into French oak 500 litre Puncheons (30% New, 30% second use and 40% older). From May until late winter the barrels were stirred occasionally until MLF was completed in 80% of the blend.
Aromas of hay and honey with hints of citrus and stone fruit, subtle oak. Soft entry to the palate with good volume in the middle, excellent length, and a pleasing fresh finish.
