Pt. Leo Estate Non-Vintage Sparkling
Predominately Pinot Gris with small portions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; this non-vintage sparkling is crafted in the Italian Prosecco style using the Charmat method – where the second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks to capture its fine, lively bead.
The bouquet is brimming with fresh pear, green apple and hint of spring blossom, while the palate is bright and refreshing. The finish is clean, with delicate fruit and a gentle mousse.
We suggest this wine is best enjoyed young.
2025 Pt. Leo Estate Pinot Gris
Low-yielding, hand-picked fruit was harvested in the last week of February and gently whole-bunch pressed.
Aromatic layers of lemon & lime, nashi pear, white blossoms, and musk. The palate exhibits citrus and pear flavours on the palate. It has good intensity and length with a refreshing finish. We suggest you enjoy this wine now and over the next couple of years.
2024 Pt. Leo Estate Rosé
Awarded 95 points (Gold) MP Wine Show 2024
This wine made from three select Pinot Noir blocks picked in early March was awarded the Trophy for Best Rosé at the 2024 Mornington Peninsula Wine Show.
After handpicking, the free run juice was settled in a cool tank for 48 hours prior to being inoculated with yeast to encourage fermentation.
In the glass, floral aromas, hints of nectarines, pear and strawberries are expressed. The wine is dry with an enjoyable soft middle palate, good length and a refreshing finish. We recommend
best to enjoy this wine now ahead of the spring and summer months.
2022 Pt. Leo Estate Chardonnay
The Estate Chardonnay was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, prior to being settled overnight and later transferred into French oak puncheons of which 20% are new. With occasional batonage over the ten months in barrel to enhance both texture and complexity.
The bouquet presents bright citrus notes of lemon and pink grapefruit and subtle roasted nuts. The palate is elegant and generous with layered flavours of citrus, white nectarine and delicate rounded oak flavours. It exhibits fine acidity and mineral length with a promise of ageing up to seven years, while equally rewarding to enjoy now.
2022 Pt. Leo Estate Pinot Noir
This wine is a delicious representation of Pt. Leo Estate’s cool climate Pinot Noir.
Aromatically expressive, this Pinot Noir reveals dark cherries, plums and hints of forest herbs with delicate oak nuance. The palate is finely balanced; it is smooth and silky on entry and builds with sweet berry fruit, supported with supple tannins and develops with a persistent and savoury finish.
Whilst ready to be enjoyed over the next three years, those who patiently cellar a little longer will be rewarded.
2022 Pt. Leo Estate Grampians Shiraz
A contemporary cool climate, medium bodied Shiraz sourced from the Grampians region of western Victoria.
The nose offers black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry accompanied by hints of cracked pepper and fragrant spice. The palate is supple and velvety, balancing generous fruit with a savoury backbone and fine tannins. This wine is drinking well now, but it will benefit from a few years in the cellar, rewarding your patience with added depth and complexity in the glass.
