Discover the Beauty of Art, Nature and Culture at Pt. Leo Estate’s Sculpture Park Open Weekend! Pt. Leo Estate welcomes you to our annual Sculpture Park Open Weekend celebration, Saturday 30th November – Sunday 1st December.
Join us for this special evening in Pt. Leo Restaurant, where you will experience a guided tasting of our newest vintage wines with our Cellar Door Manager, David Stuart, and all paired with a sumptuous five-course dinner by Culinary Director, Phil Wood.
Over the course of the year, we welcome our Wine Club members, locals and holidaymakers to the Western-port side of the Mornington Peninsula, to Pt. Leo Estate for our 4 Seasons Feast Series. This series celebrates the pleasures of changing seasons in our 50-acre vineyard, and the produce that we source for our feasts from in and around the Mornington Peninsula.
Shane Delia explores our kitchen garden with Phil Wood, enjoys a taste of our award-winning 2 chefs hat fine dining restaurant Laura and a wine tasting with our Sommelier Andrew Murch.
Last year was such a successful year for Pt. Leo Estate – and we believe 2019 is already shaping up to be another exciting one, with both of our events at the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival already sold out! We look forward to launching our ‘Seasons Feast Series’ for our Wine Club, as well as a number of unique & exciting events for our guests to enjoy throughout the year.
Over the last few weeks, the vineyard team have been busy pruning foliage, dropping excess fruit and beginning the process of netting the vines. At this stage in the season, the fruit starts to go through a process known as ‘veraison’. The wine team will be busy making space for the new vintage – cleaning barrels, bottling last years vintage and cleaning the crushers. It is one of the most anticipated times of the year for the Cellar Door and vignerons.
