1 – MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • To join the Wine Club, you must be 18 years of age or over, be a resident of and living in Australia and agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
  • Shipments are for Wine Club Members’ personal consumption only and must not be used for retail sale.
  • Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence;
    To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $19,000)
    For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor. (Penalty exceeds $800)
  • Liquor will not be delivered to an unattended premise (as stated in clause 3 ‘Shipping Specifics’ below) and must be signed for by a person over the age of 18 at the time of delivery. Pt. Leo Estate reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of members and any other information relevant to membership or participation in the Wine Club. Pt. Leo Estate reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the operations of the Pt. Leo Estate Wine Club.
  • The Pt. Leo Estate Wine Club members are eligible for all membership benefits from the date of membership sign-up.
  • The Pt. Leo Estate Wine Club 15% discount applies to all off-premise sales for Pt. Leo Estate wines only.
  • The 15% discount membership benefit may not be used in conjunction with other Pt. Leo Estate Cellar Door or online store discounts.
  • Members receive a minimum of 6 deliveries of half a dozen Pt. Leo Estate wines over two years, consisting of the following –
    Mid-August Pt. Leo Estate Vintage Launch
    Early December festive season mail-out
    Early April Harvest Celebration
  • Expect delivery approximately 10 working days of your card being charged. We will send you an email before each delivery if you need to update your delivery address or change your selection.

2 – MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT

  • By joining you acknowledge that your wine selections will be automatically charged to your credit card. Our system will automatically send you an email before your credit card expiry date and you will be able to update your new card details easily and securely.
  • Pt. Leo Estate utilises third party payment gateway “Stripe”. Stripe is a certified PCI Level 1 Service Provider. For more information, please visit their website – https://stripe.com/docs/security.
  • If the member’s nominated credit card account is changed or reaches its expiry date, the member must notify Pt. Leo Estate no later than five business days prior to the end of the month preceding dispatch.
  • If the member’s registered credit card account is invalid, including an outdated expiry date, all membership benefits will be suspended until valid credit card or account details are provided.

3 – SHIPPING SPECIFICS

  • Your next pack will be charged approximately 10 days before the next delivery (we will send you an email before this happens). You can skip or hold your delivery at any time before then by emailing cellar door at cellardoor@ptleoestate.com.au.
  • If you choose to pick up from the cellar door each shipment, there is no delivery fee.
  • All shipments must be delivered to the Wine Club Member, another adult person at the delivery address who undertakes to accept the shipment on the member’s behalf, or in accordance with the member’s instructions. Anyone at the member’s delivery address who receives the shipment will be presumed by the Pt. Leo Estate Wine Club to be authorised to receive the shipment on the member’s behalf. Pt. Leo Estate may request that the person who receives the shipment at the delivery address provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age to the person responsible for delivery of the Shipment. Pt. Leo Estate will refuse to deliver the shipment if the person receiving the shipment is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age. The shipment will not be delivered to persons under the age of 18 years or to persons who fail to provide proof of age satisfactory to Pt. Leo Estate that the person is aged 18 years or over.
  • If the shipments are damaged or partially lost during transit, the member must, within 14 working days of delivery of the goods, provide Pt. Leo Estate written notice giving reasonable of any such alleged damage or partial loss. The member acknowledges and agrees that no claim whatsoever shall be accepted by Pt. Leo Estate for any damage to, or partial loss of, the shipments which occurred during transit where written notice is not provided within this period. On accepting the member’s claim, Pt. Leo Estate will at its discretion replace or refund the goods and pay for any additional delivery charges.
  • The Wine Club Member understands that it is their responsibility to inform Pt. Leo Estate of any change in address and delivery details. Members may also access or change their details by logging into their account and changing their profile and preferences. Charges incurred with the recovery of wines to an old or incorrect address will be the responsibility of the member.
  • If a wine is found to be faulty we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund. Notification must be given to us within 14 working days of delivery.
  • Please send an email to cellardoor@ptleoestate.com.au or admin@ptleoestate.com.au to notify us of any damages, incorrect orders or faults and arrange for the replacement or return of the product. Once the details or wine/s are received we will assess the situation or wine fault and refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed, you will receive a full refund including shipping and handling charges.

4 – PERSONAL DETAILS

  • It is the members’ responsibility to ensure that their personal details and online profile is accurate and up to date. Pt. Leo Estate is not responsible for changes made to the member account by the account holder and/ or any other persons with the account holder’s access details.
  • Pt. Leo Estate utilises third party payment gateway “Stripe”. Stripe is a certified PCI Level 1 Service Provider. For more information, please visit their website – https://stripe.com/docs/security.
  • Requests made to Pt. Leo Estate to update member details must be made in writing.
  • Pt. Leo Estate will only use personal information provided on the Club application form to send Club wine purchases and winery news that may be of interest to the member, such as, but not limited to, tastings, exclusive offers, events and new release information. Method of contact may be by mail, email, phone call or text message.
  • Pt. Leo Estate will not sell or share members’ personal information with any third parties, except to the extent necessary to deliver products or information to members, for example, mailing houses. Any third parties to whom such information is provided are instructed to delete or destroy these details immediately after use.
  • Wine Club Members may opt-out of receiving e-communications at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for opt-out guarantees.
  • Personal details for all members will be collected for the purposes of conducting the Wine Club membership. By joining the Wine Club, members consent to the use of their personal details as described above. Members may access or change their details by logging into their account and changing their profile and preferences. If you are having difficulties accessing your account, please feel free to contact us by emailing admin@ptleoestate.com.au or cellardoor@ptleoestate.com.au.

5 – MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

  • Club members can defer or cancel their membership at any time after receipt of the sixth dispatch.
  • A cancellation fee will be charged to the member for memberships cancelled prior to the sixth dispatch.
  • Written notification of cancellation is required via cellardoor@ptleoestate.com.au or admin@ptleoestate.com.au no later than 10 business days prior to the end of the month preceding a dispatch.
  • All member benefits will cease upon cancellation of the membership.
  • Membership will automatically continue unless written notification of cancellation is received.
  • Pt. Leo Estate reserves the right to terminate a member and their member benefits at any time without notice.

6 – CONDITIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

  • Pt. Leo Estate may at any time and at its sole discretion change these Terms and Conditions. Any such changes will be communicated via email and effective immediately upon updating on this page.
